ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIAL CONTROLS MECHANIC

Major Duties:
Serve as a station expert on all types of complex control systems including electrical/electronic, pneumatic hydraulic-based controls Troubleshoot computer-based VACGHHHVAC systems, station fire alarms systems and variable speed AC and DC controllers Establish and maintain documentation files for all systems Check newly installed systems Provide training to maintenance tradesmen Provide technical assistance and project support for proposed and on-going renovation and construction of systems with controls Review plans for new installations during design stage Interpret engineering drawings, along with sequence of operation analysis, for all types of complex control or controlled systems Maintain computer-based building automation system (CBBAS) Present written and/or oral reports on various aspects of control equipment status and/or proposed systems or system changes Work Schedule:

The incumbent of this position must be capable of lifting, carrying and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds, unassisted and heavier loads with assistance. Will be required to work form ladders, scaffolding and/or platforms to accomplish assignments when systems are in hard to reach places. May be required to work in close quarters or in cramped positions. Work requires hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity to manipulate tools when assembling units and replacing defective components, coordination for reading and setting gauges, adjusting controls, etc., and color discrimination to recognize color codes. Work frequently requires stooping, stretching, bending and kneeling for long periods of time. Works indoors and outdoors, on elevated structures and in cramped areas. Subject to discomfort from face masks and/or other protective devices when there is a possibility of exposure to infectious disease. Other hazards include, electrical shock/burn, injuries to the skin, eyes and lungs from refrigerants, gases, chemicals and solvents, cuts, and bruises. A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. All experience listed on your resume must include the month and year start/end dates. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
