Manager Technical Engineering

Position Summary:
The incumbent is responsible for providing oversight for the introduction of multiple high speed automation lines include SMT/PCBA & Packaging and the transfer to the lines to working environment for operations.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for introduction of high speed automation lines to ramp up production in 20MM units that phases to 100MM Freestyle Libre units per annum when at full capacity. The individual will be responsible for introduction of high speed automation lines to support the scale up while working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely introduction of equipment.
Plan, implement and manage major engineering projects associated with SMT/PCBA and Packaging of finished product including development, build, test, commissioning, validation activities, RCE documentation etc. as required.
Manage relevant departmental/project budgets within target and implement CIP/BEx projects as required.
Departmental decision making at the local Buffalo Grove site reporting to Senior Management on development and oversight on key automation lines for ADC.
Provides technical support and knowledge.
Ensure the project meets quality requirements of all key internal stakeholders including but not limited to internal (ADC) R&D, Regulatory, Quality groups while also being the key contact for TPM operations to ensuring adherence to the required ADC policies and procedures.
Measures and reports progress against approved timelines.
Acts as an effective project leader or team member in supporting timelines, quality disciplines, decisions, and practices.
Ensure prompt attention of the Senior Management in areas of risk, which might have an adverse effect project delivery, product and/or safety.
Based at a CMO (TPM) with links to Abbott sites on West coast as well as Ireland and UK. The individual will need to have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire a team, engage with the CMO and communicate across multiple different time zones.
Will regularly interact with Senior level management team with principal level engineering reports. business.
The immediate reporting line will be to offsite remote manager, with onsite team based support. Therefore the individual will be required to be self-starting and self-motivated. Role has up to 4 direct reports.
Qualifications:
Degree level engineering qualification in Engineering/Manufacturing/Science or equivalent. Minimum 5 years? experience. Experience of Project managing the implementation of high speed automation lines in a FMCG or high volume medical device environment. 3 year?s previous experience in a Medical Device or Pharmaceutical environment required. Supervisory experience preferred but not essential.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
