Position
Summary:
Under the direction of the Manifold Design Engineering Group Manager, the Manifold Design Engineer assists in the development of new products, solving design problems; adapt, alter, or improve existing products.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Interpret design input and translate into design of custom hydraulic manifold housings
o and develop detailed drawings for manufacturing and assembly of the manifolds.
o Communicate with sales to resolve design issues, and work closely with manufacturing
o and suppliers to assist with design issues.
o Redesign standard products, improving quality and productivity, while reducing costs.
o Meet engineering standards, applicable procedures, customer specifications within
o cost constraints.
o Participate in cross-functional teams to address and resolve manufacturing, design
o and quality problems, and ensure the continuous, on-going improvement of processes
o and methods.
o Adapt, alter, or improve existing products working from documented requirement outlines
Experience:
5-10Yrs of Hydraulic Valve Design
5-10 Yrs working on Off Highway Mobile Applications
2-3 years of Manifold Design Experience
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
