Career development with an international company where you can grow the career you dream of .Free medical coverage for employees via the Health Investment Plan (HIP) PPOAn excellent retirement savings plan with high employer contributionTuition reimbursement, the Freedom 2 Save student debt program and FreeU education benefit - an affordable and convenient path to getting a bachelors degree.A company recognized as a great place to work in dozens of countries around the world and named one of the most admired companies in the world by Fortune.A company that is recognized as one of the best big companies to work for as well as a best place to work for diversity, working mothers, female executives, and scientists.The OpportunityThis position works out of our Lake Bluff, IL location in the GES Global Engineering division.The Training Coordinator develops and administers the training programs for the departmentThis includes safety, regulatory, technical, and developmental training programs intended to ensure personnel can sustain and improve operations, fulfilling departmental objectivesThis individual must work with the Lake County CPEO Training Manager, and safety and training coordinators from other Lake County CPEO maintenance and utility operations, to ensure the standardized development and implementation of applicable programsThis includes achieving a quantifiable level of safety awareness, and technical and soft-skill knowledge for personnel.What Youll Work OnIdentify and maintain current skill set profiles for individual utilities job functions.Develop and administer training curriculums consistent with skill requirements.Maximize standardization of training for requirements common to corporate engineering entities (i.esafety training)This includes maintaining a computer tracking system, and generating training records and reports as needed to ensure compliance with GMP regulations.Ensure the training program implemented complies with all requirements by federal regulatory bodies in accordance with corporate guidelines.Develop training aids, including slides and videotapes, handouts and newsletters in support of training objectives.Schedule training activities for exempt personnel in accordance with individual training plans.Update and maintain qualification training books, ensuring that the qualification materials are consistentThis includes auditing associated BOPs for content and presentation.Schedule and coordinate vendor-provided training to support the development of all needs best met by manufacturer representatives.Develop and implement skills assessment programs to quantify understanding and ensure the quality of training conducted.Develop strategies to correct deficiencies in the training program.Required QualificationsAssociate Degree in a Technical field or relevant work experience and knowledge.High school diploma or equivalent at a minimum.BA or BS in Training, Education, Business, or related field a plus.Excellent presentation skills are required, to effectively present material before large and/or diverse groups of employees.This individual must have the ability to work independently and be well organized in program development and administration.Preferred QualificationsA mechanical background is preferred, with an ability to proficiently communicate verbally and in writing. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
